Rosedale, 4EG’s newest bar concept located in Over-the-Rhine, opened its doors to the public on Saturday, December 23rd, 2017. The space was formerly occupied by The Famous Neon’s Unplugged.
4EG recruited a team of local designers and influencers to develop a well-rounded, inclusive, and community-inspired brand. The team consisted of Corey Rineair, an interior designer known for her work with Hotel Covington; Such & Such, industrial designers who managed the woodwork and craftsmanship of the bar’s fixtures; Frameshop; a custom framer that expertly designed the exterior signage; and BS LLC, a local marketing firm that seamlessly blended the historical background of the space with the brand trajectory.
Rosedale has partnered with MORTAR, Cincinnati’s entrepreneurship hub, to bring a spotlight to up-and-coming food entrepreneurs in the area. An outdoor food station will launch in the spring of 2018. The space has been branded as the MORTAR Mess Hall.
The patio at Rosedale features two premium bocce ball courts with courtside seating and a number of outdoor games. In the cooler months, three chimeneas provide warmth for guests seeking to retreat to the outdoors.
Indoor entertainment consists of a pool table and classic arcade games, as well as several HDTVs to broadcast popular sporting programming and special events.
A standing $3 menu is available and rotates monthly with a selection of beers, shots, and cocktails. Pub Beer, an American Pale Lager style beer brewed by 10 Barrel Brewing Co., is designated as the house draft beer, always priced at $3.
Private parties and social events can be booked in a separate upstairs bar, a hyper-stylized room complemented by ornate armchairs and dramatic wallpaper. The upstairs bar is only available to the public on weekend nights.
Gather among friends, drink by the fire, and enjoy all that Rosedale has to offer.
